United Industries Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 28 February 1973 — the first company of UI Group. By the mid-70s, UISB penetrated the OEM market by supplying exhaust systems to Asia Automobile Industries Sdn. Bhd.

Today, UISB manufactures Sub-Assembly Instrument Panels, beam axles, lateral rods, battery trays and more — serving Malaysia's top car assemblers with ISO-certified precision and reliability.

UISB incorporated, taking over Syarikat United Industries founded in 1968.
1976
Moved to present location and expanded into the OEM automotive market.
1980
Expanded into wheel barrow manufacturing under the DANCO brand.
1984
JV with Sanoh Industrial for tubing systems and technical agreement with J. Eberspacher Germany.
1986
Technical agreement with Crefact Corporation Japan for metal fuel tank manufacturing.
1997
Technical agreement with J. Eberspacher for BMW exhaust systems.
2001
Technical agreement with KAUTEX Textron Germany for plastic fuel tank production.
2003
Achieved ISO 9001 certification as a major quality milestone.
2010
Certified ISO/TS 16949:2009, EMS 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
2018
Certified ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, EMS 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001.
2020
Technical agreement concluded with BESTEX Kyoei Co. Japan for Pipe Fuel Filler systems.
