The Standard Series is our core offering for automotive and light commercial fuel tank supply. Manufactured from CR1/CR2 cold-rolled mild steel, each tank is precision-pressed, seam-welded, and epoxy-primed to ensure long service life. OEM-matching port positions and sender unit flanges are available across our full vehicle model library.

How We Make Every Tank

From certified steel coil to compliant finished product — five precision-controlled stages that guarantee zero compromises on every unit we ship.

Raw Material Procurement & QC
Steel coils are sourced exclusively from certified mills (BlueScope, JFE, POSCO). Every incoming batch undergoes chemical composition analysis and tensile / yield strength verification against material certificates before entering the production floor.

CNC Blanking & Precision Forming
Flat blanks are CNC-cut to ±0.5 mm tolerance and pressed into three-dimensional tank profiles using multi-stage progressive die tooling. Forming parameters — tonnage, stroke depth, and draw speed — are monitored in real time to prevent springback and localised wall-thinning defects.

Seam Welding & Joint Inspection
MAG/MIG and TIG seam welding joins tank halves and all fittings under controlled heat input parameters. All welds undergo 100% visual inspection per ISO 5817. Safety-critical joints on marine and industrial tanks receive additional dye-penetrant and periodic radiographic examination.

Pressure Testing & Surface Coating
Every completed tank is pressurised to 0.3 bar and immersion-tested in a water bath — zero-leak tolerance before proceeding. Tanks are then shot-blasted to Sa 2.5 cleanliness standard and coated with a fuel-resistant epoxy primer followed by a topcoat sealer. Stainless variants undergo electropolishing; aluminised tanks receive passivation treatment.

Final Inspection & Certification
Completed tanks undergo dimensional verification, port torque check, label and batch-marking application, and packaging inspection. Compliance documentation — ADR 34/00, AS 1940, ABYC H-33, and UN/DOT certificates — is issued per applicable order type and shipped with each consignment.
